The University Hospital of the Canton of Vaud (CHUV) is based in Lausanne with the primary aims of welcoming, caring for and bringing relief to patients, of providing training in special areas of medicine, and also for nursing, medico-technical and medico-therapeutic staff, and of carrying out medical research.
